Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 100 g butter, diced
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 egg (s), whisked
  • 100 grams flour
  • 1 pinch (s) baking powder

For covering:

  • 150 g butter
  • 125 g suar
  • 125 g flaked almonds, blanched
  • 4 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C top / bottom heat.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar until frothy, then gradually fold in the egg. Sift in the flour and baking powder and fold in. Put the dough in a 20 cm springform pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until it feels elastic when pressed on and is slightly browned in the middle.
  3. To make the topping, slowly melt the butter in a heavy saucepan. Stir in sugar, almonds and milk and heat without stirring for 5 - 10 minutes until the mixture is lightly browned. Spread on the floor and bake the cake for another 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Let cool before serving.
