Ingredients

  • 1 ½ kg potato (s), boiled
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 100 g butter
  • 8 tablespoon flour, heaped
  • 300 g mozzarella
  • 100 g ham, raw, e.. Black Forest
  • Parsley, fresh or from the cooling shelf
  • 2 tablespoon parmesan
  • 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

  • 4 onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 cans tomato (s), peeled
  • salt and pepper
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Puree the boiled potatoes, mix with the eggs and 50g butter and season with a little salt, pepper and nutmeg. Gradually stir in the flour.
  2. Boiled potatoes from the previous day are usually a bit drier than freshly boiled potatoes.
  3. Depending on how moist the potato mixture is, more flour may be needed for the dough. After adding the flour, it should be possible to press the dough into the mold with your fingers without sticking too much, if necessary add a little more flour - but not too much, otherwise the cake will be too dry.
  4. Cut the mozzarella into slices and cut the ham into bite-sized pieces. Chop the parsley.
  5. Put half of the potato mixture in a 26 springform pan that has been greased and sprinkled with flour, press the edge up a little.
  6. Spread the cheese on top except for 3 slices. Scatter the parsley and ham on top. Cover everything with the remaining potato mixture.
  7. Spread the rest of the cheese, as well as the mixture of the Parmesan and the breadcrumbs on top, then sprinkle with flakes of butter.
  8. The whole thing must now bake at 200 ° C in the preheated oven for about 35-45 minutes. The baking time can vary a little depending on the oven.
  9. For the sauce, fry the chopped onions and chopped garlic, then add the minced meat. Add the tomatoes when the minced meat is done. The whole thing must now simmer gently for about 15 minutes. Finally, season with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
  10. Take the cake out of the oven, let it rest in the tin for about 5 minutes, then loosen the ring on the springform pan.
  11. Serve the sauce with the casserole.
