Instructions

  1. Peel and roughly grate the onions. Knead 1/3 with the mince, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Line a baking dish (approx. 30 cm long) with the bacon slices, leaving 3 cm hanging over the edge.
  2. Peel, wash and roughly grate the potatoes. Squeeze the potatoes well. Mix in the rest of the onions and flour, season.
  3. Spread half of the potato mixture in the pan. Debark the cheese. Place 4 slices on the potatoes, distribute the minced meat mixture on top, press down lightly. Spread the rest of the potatoes on top. Fold the protruding bacon slices over it. Cut the remaining cheese slices into strips and sprinkle over them.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack (top / bottom heat: 200 ° C, convection: 175 ° C, gas: level 3) for 45 - 50 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Garnish with marjoram. A green salad tastes good with it.
