Potatoes Baked with Cheese and Milk

Very tasty potatoes that melt in your mouth, with a delicate cheese-milk taste and an appetizing golden-brown crust.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 600 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Milk – 200 ml
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Fresh greens – for serving

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven, set the temperature to 200 ° C.
  2. Peel the potatoes, cut into slices, put in a bowl.
  3. Grate cheese on a coarse grater.
  4. Peel and chop the garlic.
  5. Add half the cheese and garlic to the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Mix.
  6. Then add the egg and pour in the milk. Stir again. Grease a deep baking dish with oil and pour the whole mass into it evenly. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  7. Bake in an oven heated to 200 ° C until tender (about an hour). Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped herbs.
