- 500 g potato (s), new
- 2 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 teaspoon salt, coarse
- 1 egg yolk
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper, coarsely ground

- Wash the unpeeled potatoes and simmer in salted water for 15 minutes. Preheat the grill (or top heat) to 200 ° C.
- Rinse the potatoes briefly in cold water and cut in half lengthways. Mix the salt, sesame seeds and pepper on a flat plate. Brush the cut surfaces of the potatoes with egg yolk, press into the mixture and place on a baking sheet with the cut surface facing down.
- Brush the top with oil and bake for 10 minutes on the top shelf until crispy brown.
- It is best to serve some ham of your choice and fresh salad (dressed with vinegar and oil).
