Ingredients

  • 800 g french fries, happy to make yourself
  • 800 ml beef stock
  • 100 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 180 g mini mozzarella
  • 100 ml strong beer
  • 30 grams flour
  • 5 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcester sauce
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Finely dice the onion and garlic. Clean the mushrooms and cut into thin slices.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in the pan, sweat the onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Then add the mushrooms and fry everything for about 2 - 3 minutes. Do not let the garlic turn brown. Then set aside.
  4. Make a roux from 3 tablespoons of butter and the flour, deglaze with the beef stock and simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring. Then add the mushrooms, strong beer, balsamic vinegar, ketchup and Worcester sauce. Bring to the boil briefly and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Fry the French fries, season with salt and distribute on 4 plates. Halve the mozzarella balls, place on the fries and finally pour the sauce over them.
