Ingredients

  • 6 egg (s), size M
  • 500 g low-fat quark
  • 100 g almonds, round
  • 100 g flaxseed meal
  • 4 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 4 tablespoon flaxseed flour
  • 1 point baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ bread spice mix

Instructions

  1. Mix the eggs and quark together. Mix and stir in all other ingredients. Put the dough in a loaf pan and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake the bread in it for about 60 minutes. Then remove the bread pan and let the bread stand in the switched-off oven for approx. 10-15 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
  4. Advice: Since the cadmium content in flaxseed is relatively high, the Federal Center for Nutrition recommends not consuming more than 20 g flaxseed per day. The daily bread consumption should be divided accordingly.
