Puff Spiral Sticks with Ham and Cheese

Delicious puff pastry sticks with ham and cheese – very crispy, tender, aromatic and just melt in your mouth! Everyone will be delighted with such sticks, and children especially love to crunch such puffs. Preparing them is quick and easy.
Ingredients
- Yeast-free puff pastry – 500 g
- Hard cheese – 100 g
- Ham (or sausage) – 100 g
- Egg – 1 pc.
- Rosemary (dried ground) – to taste
- Green basil (dried ground) – to taste
- White sesame – 1 tbsp (to taste)
Directions
- Fully defrost the puff pastry, halve and roll out half into a rectangle.
- Stir the egg with a whisk and coat the entire surface of the dough with it (the remaining mixture will still come in handy).
- Grate the ham (sausage) and cheese on a medium grater.
- Spread the ham (sausage) evenly on the dough, spread the cheese on top and sprinkle with dry herbs: basil, rosemary, you can use your favorite spices.
- Roll out the second part of the dough into a rectangle the same size as the first.
- Put the dough on the filling and lightly compact with a rolling pin. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
- We cut the dough into strips one and a half to two centimeters wide.
- Gently twist each strip of dough to make spirals.
- Put the sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
- Lubricate each spiral with an egg.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on the spirals. We bake the sticks in a preheated oven at a temperature of 190 degrees for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Puff spiral sticks with ham and cheese are ready!
