Quick Cinnamon Sugar Puffs

When guests are on the doorstep or just wanted to pamper themselves with something tasty, sugar puffs from ready-made puff pastry will help out. Minimum products – maximum pleasure! A win-win recipe for all occasions. Try it!

Ingredients

  • Yeast puff pastry (frozen) – 500 g
  • Sugar – 2-2.5 tbsp (50-60 g)
  • Brown sugar – 1.5 tbsp (30 g)
  • Butter – 60 g
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Ground cinnamon – 1 / 2-3 / 4 teaspoon (to taste)

Directions

  1. Prepare foods on the list. Defrost the dough. Remove the butter from the refrigerator to warm and soften (about 20-30 minutes). You will also need muffin tins for easy baking.
  2. In a convenient bowl, combine 1.5 tbsp of brown sugar, 0.5 tablespoon. tablespoons of white sugar, a pinch of salt and ground cinnamon.
  3. The remaining 1.5-2 tablespoon. use tablespoons of white sugar to work with the dough. Sprinkle a thin layer of sugar on your work surface. Put the dough on top of the sugar and roll it out to a thickness of 0.3-0.5 cm. For convenience, I divided the dough into 2 parts.
  4. Separate about 40 g (2/3) of the butter and brush the surface of the dough with softened butter.
  5. If you divide the dough in half, then also divide the butter (20 g each), sugar and cinnamon sugar into two parts.
  6. Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees. Sprinkle the buttered dough with a mixture of sugar, salt and cinnamon. Save 2-3 pinches of sugar mixture for sprinkling the finished puffs.
  7. Roll the dough into a tight roll and pinch the edges.
  8. Cut the roll into pieces 2-3 cm wide.
  9. It turns out about 9-11 puffs (depending on the thickness of the dough rolling). Place the blanks vertically into the muffin tins.
  10. Place the puffs in a preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Melt the remaining 20 g of butter in the microwave or in a saucepan over low heat. Grease the surface of the hot layers with butter and sprinkle with a few pinches of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  12. Quick sugar puffs are ready.
