Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 21 g yeast, fresh or
  • 1 packet yeast, dry
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 80 g suar (only with sweet yeast douh, otherwise 1 tablespoon)
  • 250 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 80 g butter, soft

Instructions

  1. No pre-dough needs to be made for this.
  2. Mix the flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Pour butter over it and knead briefly.
  3. Crumble the yeast over it or sprinkle dry yeast over it and add lukewarm milk in one shot. Knead everything good for 7-8 minutes.
  4. Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place for at least 1-2 hours.
  5. After walking, work or pierce again vigorously and process further as you wish.
  6. The dough is well suited for cake bases (laid out on 1 tray) for braids and sweet pastries, but yeast dumplings can also be made from it.
  7. If you like, you can add 1 egg (for yeast dumplings, for example), but you don`t need it urgently.
