Ingredients
- 400 ml water
- 4 clove (s)
- 4 cardamom pods
- 4 cinnamon blossom (s)
- 1 star anise
- 0.5 ½ tonka bean (s)
- 4 teaspoons rooibos tea

- Coarsely crush all spices in a mortar. Bring the water and all the spices to the boil in a small saucepan and simmer for 2 minutes. Put the rooibos tea in a tea infuser and simmer in the pot for another two minutes.
- Remove the tea infuser and carefully pour the tea through a sieve. Serve the tea in cups.
- Sweeten with honey or rock candy to taste.
