Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g suar
  • 3 small egg (s)
  • 125 g flour
  • 65 g hazelnuts, round
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Milk, something
  • Eggnog, to taste
  • 4 tablespoon rum
  • 2 apples
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Peel, core and dice apples, mix with rum in a bowl and let steep for about half an hour.
  2. Beat the butter until smooth, pour in the sugar and continue to stir until the sugar crystals are no longer visible. Stir in eggs one by one, each egg about 30 seconds.
  3. Mix the flour with the hazelnuts, baking powder, cocoa and cinnamon and briefly stir in with a little milk and egg liqueur, so that a very thick dough is formed.
  4. Fold in the apples and pour the batter into a greased, floured 20cm springform pan. Bake at 180 ° C top / bottom heat or 160 ° C convection for approx. 1 hour. Make a chopstick test.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
