Sandwich For a Large Company

Such a large sandwich is made from a loaf of bread, olives, cheese, vegetables and smoked meats are used for the filling.

Ingredients

  • Celery stalk (finely chopped) – 1/2 cup
  • Pimento stuffed olives (drained and cut into rings) – 1/2 cup
  • Pitted olives (drained and cut into rings) – 1/2 cup
  • Any pickled vegetables (finely chopped) – 1/2 cup
  • Onions (finely chopped) – 1/3 cup
  • Extra virgin olive oil – 1/3 cup
  • Green onions (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup
  • Fresh parsley (chopped chalk) – 1/4 cup
  • Fresh lemon juice – 3 tbsp
  • Dried oregano – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic (minced) – 1 clove
  • Ground black pepper – 1/8 teaspoon.
  • Italian bread – 1 loaf (600 g)
  • Salami (cut into slices) – 150 g
  • Provolonsky cheese – 150 g
  • Ham (sliced) – 150 g

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine celery, olives, olives, pickled vegetables, onions, olive oil, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, oregano, garlic and black pepper.
  2. Cover the bowl with a lid or cling film and refrigerate for 8 hours.
  3. Remove the bowl from the refrigerator, drain the liquid, reserve 2 tablespoons.
  4. Cut a loaf of bread in half, select the crumb, leaving about 2.5 cm on the crusts.
  5. Grease the crusts from the inside with the reserved marinade.
  6. Put on the bottom peas in layers of salt, half of the olive mass, the cheese, the remaining olive mass and the ham. 
  7. Cover the filling with the top halves of the humpbacks. Cut the stuffed bread into portions and serve immediately.
