Sandwich with Cheese and Vegetables

Very simple but delicious cheese sandwiches that anyone can make.

Ingredients

  • Fresh tomato (chopped) – 0.5 cups
  • Goat cheese (crumbled) – 5 teaspoon.
  • Red onion (chopped) – 0.5 cups
  • Fennel (chopped) – 0.5 cups
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Baguette – 1 pc.
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Basil for decoration (optional)

How to make a cheese and vegetable sandwich:

Directions

  1. Cut the baguette into 1 cm thick slices (about 10 slices). Toast bread in a toaster or toaster.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Lubricate with vegetable oil.
  3. Put onion and fennel in a frying pan, fry, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes, until soft. Add tomatoes, cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the frying pan from the stove, add the olive oil, mix with the onions and fennel.
  5. Place the cheese on the baguette slices and the fried vegetables on top. Decorate the cheese sandwiches with parsley and/or basil (optional).
