Sandwiches with Lightly Salted Sprat, Fresh Cucumber and Pickled Onions

A very interesting flavor combination – slightly salted fish, fresh cucumber, and sour pickled onion. Try it!

Ingredients

  • White bread – 2 slices
  • Lightly salted sprat – 6 pcs.
  • Cucumber – 1 pc.
  • Onions (very small) – 2 pcs.
  • Balsamic vinegar 6% – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Sugar – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Prepare food.
    I cleaned the sprat in advance (removed the heads, tails, and ridges).
  2. Cut the onion into thin half-rings.
  3. Pour salt and sugar on the onion, pour in the vinegar. Stir and set aside.
  4. Divide each fish into 2 fillets.
  5. Cut the cucumber into thin slices with a vegetable peeler.
  6. Spread the bread with mayonnaise.
  7. Put cucumber slices on bread with mayonnaise.
  8. Distribute the fish on top.
  9. Then pickled onions.
    Sandwiches with lightly salted sprat, fresh cucumber, and pickled onions are ready.
