  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • sesame
  • 500 g flour, possibly a little more or less, depends on the size the jar

Instructions

  1. First, all ingredients, except egg white and sesame, are kneaded into a dough. This dough is divided into small or large balls. It is always best if the balls are about big enough that, when you roll them out, a round shape can be cut out with a larger glass. The round dough shapes cut out with the large glass are cut out again in the middle with a smaller glass, so that at the end a ring is left over. The remaining dough can be used to cut out remaining rings.
  2. Then the egg white is stirred with a little water until frothy. First the rings are turned in the egg white, then in the sesame.
  3. Everything is placed on a baking sheet with baking paper. Now the rings are baked in an oven preheated to 180 ° C until they have turned crispy and brown.
  4. Since the recipe is an ancient Turkish recipe, the units are given in glass (small drinking glass).
