  • Chicken eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Spinach – 100 g
  • Celery (stem) – 50 g (1 pc.)
  • Onions – 70 g (1 pc.)
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Feta cheese – 70 g
  • Oregano – a pinch
  • Cumin – a pinch
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

  1. We prepare products for cooking shakshuka with fresh spinach.

  2. Cut the celery into thin slices.
  3. Peel and finely chop the onion.
  4. Peel the garlic and chop finely.
  5. Rinse the spinach thoroughly and cut into strips.
  6. We cut feta with our hands.
  7. In a frying pan in olive oil, fry the celery and onions for 5 minutes.
  8. Add garlic and fry for another 2 minutes.
  9. Add spinach, cumin, oregano, salt and pepper to the pan. We fry for another 5 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle with almost all the cheese (leave a little for serving). We mix.

  11. Break eggs into a frying pan at a distance from each other, salt and pepper a little. Fry over low heat (about 5 minutes) so that the white solidifies and the yolk remains liquid.
  12. Shakshuka with fresh spinach is ready. Serve sprinkled with the remaining cheese.
