Simple Soft Gingerbread / Honey Cake

Ingredients

Instructions

Warm the honey with sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and milk and knead with the remaining ingredients to form a dough.
Spread on a greased tray and garnish each with 4 halved peeled almonds and a halved cherry in the middle.
Bake the tray in the preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 30 minutes.
In the meantime, dissolve the sugar in the hot water and brush the finished cake with it.
You can also add 100 g of chopped hazelnuts and 50 g of finely chopped lemon peel
stir in.
But I think it`s best to go with mulled wine in the simple version.
