Spanish Delicate Сoconut Сhurro Recipe

Everyone who loves coconut pastry will enjoy eating these doughnuts. You will need a coconut meal which is made from the core of the coconut the pulp of which is dried and crushed.

Ingredients

  • Rice flour – 50 g
  • Cornstarch – 80 g
  • Coconut meal – 2 tablespoon.
  • Coconut flakes – 1 teaspoon.
  • Powdered sugar – 1 heaping tablespoon.
  • Salt – a pinch
  •  Water – 200 ml

Directions

  1. Mix the rice flour, cornstarch, coconut meal, coconut flakes, powdered sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix the ingredients well.
  2. Bring the water to a boil, and then pour it into a bowl with the dry products.
  3. Knead the dough thoroughly with a spatula until it is smooth and homogeneous.
  4. Heat up the vegetable oil in a frying pan.
  5. Fill a piping bag with the dough, and then squeeze out the churros directly onto the pan.
  6. Sprinkle the cooked churros with powdered sugar and serve them with chocolate butter.
