Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 g quark
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 5 tablespoon oil
  • 100 ml buttermilk
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 350 g spelled flour, (whole wheat flour)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 100 g almond (s), chopped
  • 50 g hazelnuts, chopped (alternatively walnuts or pistachios)

For covering:

  • 250 g cottae cheese
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 2 tablespoon cress
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Knead a dough out of the dough ingredients. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, convection 160 degrees. Shape the dough into rolls and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, cut the paprika, chives and cress into small pieces and mix with the cottage cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut open the cooled rolls and brush with the cottage cheese.
