  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 5 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. The finely chopped onion is mixed with the minced meat. Add salt and pepper (preferably coarsely ground) and a few tablespoons of Worcester sauce to taste.
  2. After thorough kneading, the individual patties are formed. These should be a maximum of 1cm thick and at least as large in diameter as the buns they should be placed on - the patties contract significantly when frying.
  3. The patties are seared on both sides in hot oil and then cooked through thoroughly. They can be kept warm in the oven for a while at around 120 ° C without any problems.
  4. The burger itself can be put together according to taste: hamburger buns with or without sesame seeds, fresh vegetables (e.g. lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions), various sauces (e.g. ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, barbecue sauce) , Cheese - anything that tastes good is possible!
  5. And it`s a lot of fun when you simply put the individual ingredients in small bowls on the table and everyone can put together their own burger the way they like it best. Side dishes are hardly necessary here, but in principle French fries or a light salad go very well.
