Ingredients

  • 1 cube yeast
  • water, lukewarm
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ sugar
  • Nutella, or another nut nougat cream
  • 1 egg (s), for brushing

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in a little water. Then add the flour, salt and sugar. Knead a dough out of it, add water as needed (approx. Up to 250 ml) until a firm, non-sticky dough is formed. If it`s too sticky, add a little more flour. Then let the dough rise in a warm place until it has about twice its volume.
  2. Divide the dough into two portions and roll out the first part into a circle. Coat this first part thickly with Nutella. Roll out the second dough in a circle and place it on top of the first. Mark a circle in the middle (do not cut through), then cut into 16 pieces from the edge to the marking. Then twist the individual pieces twice. But make sure that you turn a little to the left and the next to the right, then to the left again, etc. Brush with egg and bake at about 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
