Ingredients

  • 1 kg strawberries
  • 100 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 50 ml vinegar (red wine vinegar)
  • 150 g preservin suar, 1: 3
  • 1 bag / s lemon (s) acid
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon. Black pepper grains, roughly crushed in a mortar

Instructions

  1. Cut the onions into fine cubes and bring to a boil with both types of vinegar and the spices in a saucepan. After approx. 2-3 minutes add the preserving sugar and the quartered strawberries, bring to the boil and let simmer for at least 3 minutes. Fill into sterilized jars and turn upside down.
  2. Shelf life approx. 1 year
