Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 150 g wheat flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 30 g powdered suar
  • 100 g butter
  • 0.5 ½ egg (s)

For the filling:

  • 220 g almond (s), round
  • 100 g butter
  • 4 small egg (s)
  • 120 g powdered suar

For the cast:

  • some powdered sugar
  • some lemon juice or water
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Make a kind of shortcrust pastry from the flour, baking powder, sugar, egg and butter. Store in cling film in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  2. Then roll out the dough, cut out 12 circles and line each of the 12 hollows of a greased muffin tin (it`s a sticky matter, even if it doesn`t look perfect - it still tastes good).
  3. Melt the butter for the filling. Beat eggs and sugar with a whisk until frothy. Add the ground almonds and stir in the melted butter. Pour the filling into the muffin tin lined with the batter.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C - 200 ° C for about 15 minutes.
  5. For the icing, make a thick glaze from powdered sugar and lemon juice or water. Cover the cooled tartlets generously with it.
