Ingredients

  • 250 g mararine, soft
  • 5 tablespoon natural yogurt
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 300 grams flour
  • Jam, your choice
  • some powdered sugar to sprinkle with

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the baking powder in a bowl. In a second bowl, beat the margarine, vanilla sugar, sugar and a pinch of salt until creamy. Add the yogurt. Sift the flour-baking powder mixture over it and work it into a smooth, soft dough (if necessary add a little flour if the dough is still sticky). Let rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Roll out the rested dough approx. 1 cm thick. Cut out round circles and put 1/2 teaspoon of jam in the middle (I used homemade raspberry jam). Fold like a capital D and press the edge together with a fork (also for the purpose of decoration).
  3. Preheat the oven to 170 ° C (top / bottom heat). Place the dumplings on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake on the middle rack for about 25-30 minutes, until they turn slightly color. Take the dumplings out of the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
