Tartines with Avocado and Cod Liver

We bring to your attention a recipe for a festive dish. A light, aromatic, and delicious snack made from tart avocado and tender cod liver.

Ingredients

  • Avocado – 1 pc.
  • Parsley – 4-5 branches
  • Red onion – 0.5 pcs.
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Wine red vinegar – 2-3 drops
  • Cod liver – 1 can (120 g)
  • Black bread – 0.25 loaves
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Cooking vegetable salsa. Ripe avocado, cut in half, take out the pit, and peel the avocado halves. Cut the avocado into small cubes. Transfer the avocado to a deep plate and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  2. Peel the red onion from the top husk and finely enough. Also finely chop the parsley. Peel and grind the garlic using a garlic press. Add parsley, onion, and garlic to the container to the avocado. Season with red wine vinegar and salt. Mix gently.
  3. We take out the cod liver from the jar and put it on a paper towel so that the excess liquid is glass. Then cut the cod liver into small cubes. Add the cod liver to the vegetable salsa. Mix gently.
  4. Cut the black bread into not thick slices, cut off the edges and make neat squares, rhombuses, hearts. Dry the bread in the oven or in a dry frying pan for several minutes.
  5. Put vegetable salsa with cod liver on each slice of bread. The avocado and cod liver tartines are ready.
