Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 125 g ham, katen, diced
  • 600 g meat sausae
  • 4 medium potato (s)
  • 500 g carrot (s)
  • 1 kohlrabi
  • 200 g peas, frozen
  • 200 g beans, reen beans, frozen
  • 1 ½ liter vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley
  • Lovage, (Maggi herb)

Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Peel the garlic and press it through the press. Cut the meat sausage into cubes. Peel and wash potatoes, carrots and kohlrabi and cut into cubes / slices. Leave the ham in a large saucepan and fry until crispy, add onions and garlic and sauté. Add the meat sausage and fry briefly. Add the potatoes, kohlrabi and carrots, sauté briefly, season with salt, pepper and lovage and deglaze with the stock. Bring everything to the boil and simmer for approx. 20 minutes until the vegetables are cooked, cook either firm or soft, depending on your taste. After 20 minutes add the peas and beans and simmer for another 5-10 minutes. Now season again to taste and finally sprinkle with parsley.
  2. The soup is also very tasty as a vegetarian vegetable soup, then just leave out the meat sausage and ham.
  3. If you like it spicy, you can also add a little Tabasco or chilli flakes to taste.
