Ingredients
- g 1,000 white cabbae, finely sliced
- 125 g apples, tart, cut into thin sticks
- 2 tablespoon lard
- 2 onion (s), finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 pinch sugar
- Salt and pepper, whiter from the mill
- 1 potato (s)
- 250 ml water

- Heat the lard in a saucepan, sweat the onions until translucent, pour in the cabbage and apple sticks in layers and add the spices.
- Pour 250 ml of water and bring to the boil. Cover the pot and cook the cabbage over low heat for 30-40 minutes. 10 minutes before finishing, rub the peeled potato on the cabbage and stir. Season again to taste. Serve with roast pork, meatballs and boiled potatoes.
