Whey-Free Bran Bread

This yeast-free whey bread with bran is very easy to prepare, the dough is kneaded with a spoon. The bread is very aromatic and soft.

Ingredients

  • Serum – 200 ml
  • Flour – 250 g
  • Wheat bran – 2 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp + for lubricating hands and shape
  • Sesame seeds – 1 teaspoon
  • Soda – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 0.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Put the whey on slow heating, add salt and sugar. Warm-up, stirring, until salt and sugar dissolve.
  2. Pour the bran and soda into the flour, mix. Pour in the butter and whey, knead the dough with a spoon. It should be thick, but very sticky. Let the dough stand for 30 minutes, covered with cling film. 15 minutes before the expiration of the time, turn on the oven to heat it up to 180 degrees.
  3. Grease a baking dish and hands with vegetable oil. Put the dough into a mold and flatten. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Bake yeast-free bread in the oven for 40 minutes. Remove the prepared whey-free bread with bran from the oven and let it cool well.
