Curd Yeast-Free Bread

Delicious breadcake made from yeast-free curd dough that cooks quickly. We just mix the ingredients and go to the oven!

Servings: 5

Cook: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese (soft, wet) – 280 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 250 g (about 2 glasses with a capacity of 200 ml)
  • Baking powder – 6 g
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Whisk flour, salt and baking powder in a deep bowl.
  2. In another bowl, combine soft cottage cheese, egg and sugar.
  3. Mix with a blender until a paste.
  4. Put the curd mass in a bowl with dry ingredients.
  5. Knead a soft, slightly sticky dough.
  6. Cover the baking sheet with parchment.
    Place the dough on a baking sheet and form a square about 20×20 cm.
  7. With the blunt side of the knife, make grooves in the form of a lattice on the cake.
  8. Bake the curd dough bread in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes. Cool the finished cake slightly on a wire rack.
  9. Yeast-free curd bread can be served with first courses, as well as tea or coffee – with butter, soft cheese or jam.
