Curd Yeast-Free Cake

Delicious yeast-free curd cake.

Ingredients

  • Curd 9-18% – 125 g
  • Butter – 125 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Sugar – 125 g
  • Orange (zest) – 1 pc.
  • Freshly squeezed orange juice – 40 ml
  • Flour – 300 g
  • Baking powder – 10 g
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon.
  • Walnuts – 50 g
  • Raisins – 50 g
  • Candied fruits – 70 g
  • Vanillin – 1 g
  • Sugar glaze

Directions

  1. Beat soft butter with sugar until whitening, add alternately the egg, cottage cheese (grated through a sieve or blender), zest, orange juice and vanillin. After each ingredient, knead the mass well.
  2. Sift flour separately, add baking powder, salt. Mix.
  3. Combine dry and liquid ingredients. The curd dough is dense.
  4. Add the filling (I have raisins, candied fruits and nuts) and knead the dough one last time.
  5. Distribute the dough into molds. Fill the molds 2/3 full.
    Bake yeast-free curd cakes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-40 minutes (depending on the size of the molds).
  6. Cover the curd cakes with sugar glaze.
