Ingredients

  • 500 g beans, white, medium-sized
  • 1 vegetable onion (s), diced
  • 2 cloves garlic (or more), diced
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil, good
  • 5 sage leaves, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoon tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Soak the beans overnight and then cook them until cooked (takes about 1 - 1 1/2 hours). Then pour into a colander and rinse.
  2. Roast the onion and garlic cubes in the oil until golden and add the finely chopped sage. Put everything in a pan and stir gently until the beans soak up the fat. Finally stir in tomato paste and season well.
  3. You can also serve fresh bread or rice.
