Ingredients

  • 4 turkey schnitzel, thinly sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil, for frying
  • 1 small onion (s), finely chopped
  • 50 g bacon
  • 150 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 100 g ham, cooked, cut into small pieces
  • 4 slices cheese, (Gouda)

Instructions

  1. Season the turkey schnitzel with salt and pepper and fry briefly on both sides in a pan with a little oil. Take out and place next to each other on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. Put the chopped onion in the pan and fry until golden. Cut the bacon into strips, add to the onions and fry briefly. Add the mushroom slices with the ham cut into small pieces, season with a little salt and pepper and cover and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Distribute this mixture evenly on the turkey escalope and cover each with a slice of cheese.
  4. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. This goes well with fried potatoes, French fries, croquettes, potato noodles , but also vegetables or a salad.
