Ingredients

  • 4 pork steak (s) (back, approx. 200 g each)
  • 100 g bacon (pork belly)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder
  • 250 ml red wine
  • Herbs, fresh (parsley, marjoram etc.)
  • 2 bell peppers, red, green, yellow, it doesn`t matter
  • 1 small zucchini
  • possibly vegetables, leftovers (e.g. green asparagus, carrots etc.)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • rosemary
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 potato (s), cooked leftovers, from the day before or fresh
  • Oil (corn oil, olive oil etc.)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork steaks with salt and pepper, fry in a pan with oil. Meanwhile, roughly cut the vegetables (e.g. diamonds, pens, etc.). Finely chop the garlic and rosemary. Fry the vegetables vigorously in a pan with rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper. Chop the onion and bacon. Take the fried pork steaks out of the pan and keep warm.
  2. Fry the bacon and onion in the roasting residue, dust with paprika powder and deglaze with liquid (doesn`t have to be red wine, just take what was left over from the previous evening or soup or water) Chop the herbs and add them. Also briefly return the steaks to the pan. Meanwhile, prepare fried potatoes or other side dishes.
  3. Arrange the vegetables in the middle of the plate, the steak on top, the bacon and onion mixture on top, the potatoes all around, garnish with herbs if necessary.
