Yeast Buns with Dill and Cheese Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Flour – 400 g
  • Milk – 200 ml
  • Vegetable oil – 60 ml
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Dry yeast – 1 teaspoon
  • Dill greens – 1 bunch
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp

  • Butter – 40 g
  • Hard cheese – a small piece

To grease buns:

  • Yolk – 1 pc.
  • Milk – 1 teaspoon

  1. You need a small piece of cheese.
    The butter should be soft.
    Heat the milk until slightly warm.
  2. We activate (check) the yeast, make a quick dough. Add sugar, yeast and 1 tablespoon to warm milk. a spoonful of flour. Mix and set in a warm place for 5 minutes.
  3. Set aside the dill, cheese and butter for now.
    In a mixing bowl, combine the dough, salt, vegetable oil and an egg. We mix.

  4. Slowly adding flour, knead the soft dough. Knead the dough for 7 minutes.
  5. Then we put the dough into a cup, cover with a lid or foil. Let the dough stand until it doubles in volume, about 1 hour.
  6. Finely chop the dill.
  7. Add finely chopped dill to the finished dough (after rising) and stir in.
  8. Divide the yeast dough with dill into pieces of 100 grams, I got 7 pieces. Roll each piece of dough into balls, cover with foil and let stand for 20 minutes.
  9. Rub the cheese on a fine grater.
  10. Roll each piece of dough into a small rectangular cake. Lubricate the cakes with soft butter and sprinkle with grated cheese.

  11. We fold the dough with the filling into a dense sausage roll. We roll both edges of the roll with our palms in different directions.
  12. Cover the baking sheet with parchment.
