Airy Macaroons

Delicate, airy, insanely delicious almond cookies will exceed your expectations.

Ingredients

  • Peeled, dry almonds – 125 g
  • Powdered sugar – 125 g
  • Almond oil – 2 drops
  • Egg whites (lightly beaten) – 50 g

How to make macaroons:

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Cover the baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Grind the almonds in small portions in a kitchen processor or coffee grinder.
  3. Pour almond flour into a large bowl, add powdered sugar and almond oil. Mix the egg whites into the almond mass in small portions. You should get a thick dough.
  4. Using two teaspoons, place 15-18 slides of almond dough on a prepared baking sheet at a sufficiently large distance from each other (photo 2). Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven, bake the macaroons for 15-20 minutes, until the cookies are brown.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, let the cookies cool for a few minutes, and then transfer the cookies to the table directly with the parchment. Allow the liver to cool completely, then remove the macaroons from the parchment.
