Ingredients

  • 4 pretzel rolls
  • 2 chicken breast fillet (s), about 400 g
  • 2 apple
  • 4 onion (s), red, red
  • 200 g camembert (s)
  • 6 tablespoon mustard
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 100 g butter
  • thyme
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  2. Cut the onions, apples and camembert into 3 mm thick slices each. The apples do not have to be peeled and pitted.
  3. Halve the chicken breast fillets lengthways and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and add some butter. Then roast the onions until golden brown, turning them several times, salt and pepper, place on a plate and set aside.
  5. Put the butter in the pan again and fry the apple slices for about 1 minute on each side, sprinkle with thyme and season with a little salt, set aside on a plate.
  6. Halve the pretzel rolls and place the cut surface in the pan with a little butter and briefly toast until crispy, remove and place on an oven rack.
  7. Sear the chicken breast fillets in the pan with a little olive oil on both sides. Salt and pepper and fry over medium heat, turning several times, for about 5 minutes.
  8. Mix the mustard with the honey.
  9. Now it`s time to build a burger:
  10. Brush halves of the pretzel rolls with the honey and mustard sauce. Then place a few onions and 1 or 2 apple slices on the lower halves of the bun. Place a chicken breast fillet on top and top with two slices of camembert, an apple ring and onions and cover with the top half of the roll.
  11. Place the finished burgers in the preheated oven for 2 minutes and then serve.
