Ingredients

  • 1 kg lamb
  • 2 eggplant (s)
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 green pepper (s)
  • 2 tomato (s), firm
  • 4 onion (s)
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), add the juice
  • 8 bay leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the lamb into 4 cm square pieces. Mix well 2 tablespoons of olive oil and the juice of 1/2 lemon, pour over the meat and mix well. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the top, put some onion slices and bay leaves on top. Cover the bowl and put the meat in the fridge for 5-6 hours to marinate.
  2. Place the pieces of meat alternately on 4 large skewers with onion, tomato, aubergine, pepper slices and bay leaves. Brush the grill grate with olive oil and grill the skewers all around for about 10 minutes. Serve as hot as possible.
