Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry, from the cooling shelf, I prefer reduced-fat
  • 100 g nouat
  • 1 banana (s)
  • 1 apple
  • 0.5 ½ pack vanilla sugar

Instructions

  1. Roll out the puff pastry.
  2. First quarter the bananas lengthways, then cut into small pieces. Quarter the apple and also cut into pieces. Cut the nougat into small cubes. Put everything in a bowl and mix with the vanilla sugar.
  3. Now put half of the mixture on the right part of the dough and smooth it out, leaving the edges free. Now fold the dough over so that enough of the dough still overlaps to close the strudel.
  4. Spread the rest of the fruit and nougat mixture on the closed fruit and close with the rest of the dough. Fold the edges down and brush the dough with water.
  5. Bake for approx. 30 minutes at 200 - 220 ° C in the preheated oven on top / bottom heat.
  6. The baking time can vary. One should keep an eye on the vortex. When it has reached the desired degree of browning, it is done.
  7. Let cool down for about 10-15 minutes.

  9. Before filling the puff pastry, cut approx. 3 cm from the edge of the pastry to close any holes in the strudel.
