For the dough:

  • 60 g butter, soft or melted
  • 80 g suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 banana (s), as ripe as possible
  • 150 g cream
  • 140 g flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • Fat for the shape
  • possibly paper cases

For the pour: (Frosting)

  • 100 g chocolate, dark or semi-dark
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 3 tablespoon water, boiling
  • 90 g butter, soft
  • 60 g powdered suar
  • possibly sugar sprinkles, colorful
  • possibly chips (banana chips)

  1. For the muffins, beat the butter, sugar, salt and vanilla sugar until frothy. Beat the eggs one by one. Mash the banana with a fork and stir in with the cream. Mix the flour with the baking powder and baking soda and stir into the dough.
  2. Pour the dough into a greased muffin tin or paper cases and bake at 180 ° C (top / bottom heat) for 20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. For the frosting, melt the chocolate in a water bath and let it cool down. Meanwhile, dissolve the cocoa powder in the boiling water and stir into a paste. Stir the butter until it is soft and stir in the powdered sugar. Mix with the melted chocolate and cocoa paste.
  4. Pour the frosting into a piping nozzle and decorate the muffins with it. You can also decorate the cupcakes with colorful sugar sprinkles, a dried banana chip or something similar.
