Beef Stroganoff with Mayonnaise

Today I offer a classic recipe for beef stroganoff with mayonnaise, which is known to every culinary specialist. The meat in the sauce is tender.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Beef – 500 Grams
  • Onions – 1 Piece
  • Mayonnaise – 100 Grams
  • Salt, spices – To taste
  • Vegetable oil – 20 grams
  • Flour – 1 Pinch
  • Water or broth – 200 Grams

Directions

  1. Where to start cooking beef stroganoff with mayonnaise at home? Of course, with the preparation of the main ingredient – beef. We take the meat, cut it into strips.
  2. While chopping the meat, fry the onion over low heat. Use vegetable oil as a base.
  3. We send chopped beef to the onion, mix and fry until all the liquid evaporates.
  4. At the end we send mayonnaise (to taste), mix and pour in water or broth. Cover with a lid and bring to readiness. The beef should be soft. Salt and pepper to taste as well.
  5. Simmer the meat for about 20 minutes, reducing heat. During this time, you can boil the side dish. Any porridge, pasta and mashed potatoes are combined with beef, so choose yourself.
  6. You can also add vegetable salad to the main dish.
