Instructions

  1. Rinse the spelled in a sieve and place in a saucepan. Add the water and apple juice and bring to a boil on the stove on high. While the spelled is starting to cook, cut the dried fruit into small pieces. Add to the spelled. Add the cinnamon as well. Turn the stove down, but it should simmer well. Stir every now and then and be careful not to burn anything. If the water has evaporated and the spelled is not yet soft, add a little more water.
  2. After about 10 to 15 minutes, the spelled should be soft. In the meantime, wash and core the apple and cut or grate it into small pieces.
  3. Take the pan off the stove, put the spelled porridge in a bowl and mix with the curd cheese and apple. Sprinkle with cinnamon and chopped nuts as desired.
  4. A healthy breakfast that keeps you full for a long time and provides you with all the important nutrients!

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
