Ingredients

  • 750 g broccoli
  • 125 ml sour cream or yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons capers, chopped
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ oregano
  • possibly olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the broccoli into florets, cut away the woody areas on the stem and cut it into slices. Cook the broccoli in salted water until al dente.
  2. Mix the remaining ingredients into a sauce. I usually use yogurt instead of sour cream and add a small dash of olive oil. When the broccoli is done, drain in a hair sieve, transfer to a bowl and pour the sauce over it.
  3. The broccoli is delicious as a vegetable side dish or when cooled as a salad.
