Brussels Sprouts Fried in Oil

Fried Brussels sprouts are a simple side dish for meat.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Brussels sprouts – 500 g
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Parsley or dill greens – 0.25 bunch
  • Ground red pepper – 1-2 pinches
  • Ground black pepper – 1-2 pinches
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Cut off the cabbage cocks from the stem, remove the spoiled leaves, cut the stumps. Put the cats in cold water for 10-15 minutes, then drain and rinse the cabbage at least two to three times. Boil water, salt it.
  2. After that, put it in boiling salted water and cook until tender, 15-20 minutes (the water should boil violently all the time). Throw boiled cabbage in a colander, cool with cold water, dry.
  3. Melt butter in a frying pan. put in a hot frying pan and fry in oil, very gently turning with a knife or shaking the pan (5-7 minutes). Chop the greens.
  4. Season the cooked cabbage with salt, pepper, pour with melted butter, sprinkle with chopped dill or parsley.
