Burrito with Сhicken and Beans

Preparing a burrito is pretty quick and easy. In general, here you get absolute freedom of action, you can combine the ingredients and their ratio to your taste.

Ingredients

  • tortillas 4-5 pcs.
  • chicken fillet 300 g
  • canned beans 150 g
  • canned corn 150 g
  • tomatoes 300 g
  • bell pepper 1 pc.
  • cheese 200 g
  • green onion 4 stalks
  • garlic 3 cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper
  • cumin (cumin) 1/4 teaspoon
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Chop the onion and garlic finely. Fry onion and garlic in vegetable oil for about 2 minutes over medium heat. After that, we put them on a plate.
  2. Cut the chicken into small pieces and fry in hot vegetable oil over high heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. It is fried in small portions so that a crust appears on the meat faster, which will not let the juice escape and the chicken will be juicier and softer. Salt to taste and stir.
  3. Add onion, garlic, and pepper to the meat. Fry over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
  4. Add beans, corn, cumin, chili, and tomatoes to the pan. I used canned tomatoes, but you can also use tomato puree or finely chopped skinless tomatoes. Zira should be ground or rubbed with fingers to small grains. Mix well and fry over medium heat for another 3 minutes.
  5. We grate cheese on a coarse grater, it is better to use one that melts well when heated. Add cheese to the pan and stir.
  6. We wait until the cheese is melted and remove the pan from the heat. Making tortillas, now we are going to collect burritos. Put 3-4 tablespoons of the finished filling on the edge of the cake. And roll the burrito as shown in the photo.
  7. We wrap one end of the burrito with foil or parchment to prevent the filling from leaking out, and serve it to the table, at which a company of Mexican food lovers has gathered. The burrito is ready! Bon Appetit!
