Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 375 grams flour
  • 1 pack dry yeast
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 150 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 50 g butter, melt
  • Flour for the work surface

For the cast:

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g marzipan paste
  • 120 g suar
  • 200 g flaked almonds
  • liter ⅛ whipped cream
  • 100 g flaked almonds for sprinklin

Instructions

  1. Make a yeast dough from the dough ingredients and cover and let rise for about 30 minutes. Knead again and roll out on the floured work surface to the size of a baking sheet. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and prick several times with a fork. Cover and let rise for 15 minutes.
  2. For the topping, melt the butter and knead with the diced marzipan paste. Add sugar, 200 g flaked almonds and whipped cream. Bring to the boil while stirring, then allow to cool. Spread the lukewarm glaze on the dough and sprinkle 100 g flaked almonds on top.
  3. Bake the cake in a fan oven for about 30 minutes.
