Ingredients

  • Flour – 125 Grams
  • Egg – 2 Pieces
  • Sugar – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Vegetable oil – 50 Milliliters
  • Carrots – 100 Grams (1 medium carrot)
  • Baking Dough – 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Nutmeg – Pinch (on the tip of a knife)
  • Cinnamon – 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Dry Ginger – 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Salt – Pinch
  • Vanilla Sugar – 1 Teaspoon

Directions

  1. First, you need to mix the ingredients – flour, salt, dry ginger, nutmeg, baking powder and vanilla sugar.
  2. In another deep bowl, combine vegetable oil, eggs, cinnamon and sugar. Stir with a whisk until smooth.
  3. Grate raw carrots on a fine grater.
  4. Add a sweet mixture of vegetable oil and eggs to the carrots and mix thoroughly.
  5. Now add the dry mixture and mix thoroughly with a spatula or spoon so that there is no lump.
  6. Let the dough infuse while, and during this time, heat the waffle iron. Lubricate the bottom and top plates with vegetable oil. We spread the dough with a tablespoon. We close the lid. We bring it to readiness. Each waffle maker cooks differently, so you can’t tell the exact time. I baked the first batch for 4 minutes, the second faster and the rest even faster.
  7. Cool the finished waffles and sprinkle with icing sugar.
