Casserole with Meat Balls and Mushrooms

Today we will prepare a very tasty meat casserole, add mushrooms and herbs. It is impossible to resist, everyone will like this recipe!

Let’s start with the meatballs. Today I have homemade minced meat (turkey + pork).
Grate one onion on a coarse grater or finely chop.
Combine grated onion with minced meat. Add salt and black pepper.
We mix. Form balls from minced meat.
Fry the meat balls in a little oil until tender.
At the same time, we are preparing vegetables, since there are several good pans in the kitchen.
Cut the remaining onion into small cubes, cut the mushrooms into slices. Fry the onion until lightly golden.
Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
It remains only to prepare the filling. Beat eggs with a pinch of salt. Add sour cream. Cut the cheese into cubes and also put it in the filling. We also send chopped parsley and thyme leaves there.
Putting everything together in a baking dish. I have a frying pan with a removable handle where mushrooms were fried. First, lay out the meat balls. Then we distribute the mushrooms and onions.
Fill the meat balls with the egg-sour cream mixture with herbs and cheese.
We bake meat balls with mushrooms in an egg-sour cream filling in a preheated oven at a temperature of 200 degrees until tender. Our oven did it in 25 minutes.
Serve hot casserole with meat balls and mushrooms.
