Ingredients

  • 1 bunch celery
  • 1 packet mushrooms, brown (approx. 400 g) or
  • Mushrooms (shiitake)
  • 3 spring onion (s) or
  • some onion (s), red
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce (e.g. tamari)
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil, toasted
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or
  • Vinegar (white wine vinegar) or
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 pinch (s) chilli
  • 1 tablespoon sesame with sea salt (Gomasio)

Celery – Mushroom – Japanese Style Salad

Instructions

  1. Chop the celery and mushrooms (leafy mushrooms, celery about 1/2 cm wide), then mix with the roasted sesame oil, the tamari (or other soy sauce) and the rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar) and a pinch of chili and mix. Let it sit a little (5 - 10 minutes).
  2. Finally, mix in the freshly chopped spring onions or red onions according to personal taste, sprinkle with a little Gomasio (sesame with sea salt) and serve.
  3. As a vegetarian main course, the same amount is suitable for two people.
