Ingredients

  • 100 g cheese, spicy (e.. Comté)
  • 2 tablespoon sugar, brown
  • 4 dashes lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon mustard (fig mustard)
  • Balsamic vinegar (crema di balsamic vinegar)

Instructions

  1. Cut the cheese into small cubes of the same size. Cover and marinate with the fig mustard for approx. 3 hours at room temperature.
  2. Melt the sugar in a non-stick pan just before serving. Halve the figs, drizzle each half with lemon juice and place in the melted sugar with the cut surface facing down.
  3. Sear it very briefly and turn it once. Remove the pan from the hob and arrange the figs on a plate with 1 - 2 tablespoons of the cheese. Decorate with balsamic cream.
